1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Groundwork at mygroundwork.io you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms please do not use our platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Groundwork Limited, a company registered in Ireland.

2. Description of Service

Groundwork is a daily wellness platform that provides:

Daily check-ins and life pillar tracking
Morning intention and evening reflection rituals
A community for people building real lives
Campfire small group rooms — Premium feature
Chris — an AI life coaching service — Premium feature
Weekly AI reflection summaries — Premium feature

3. Important Disclaimer — Chris AI Life Coach

Please read this section carefully before using Chris.

Chris is an AI life coach. Chris is NOT a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, medical doctor or healthcare professional. Chris is NOT a substitute for professional mental health treatment and is NOT a crisis intervention service.

Chris does not provide medical advice, psychological therapy, psychiatric treatment or any form of clinical intervention. The guidance provided by Chris is for general wellness and personal development purposes only.

By using Chris you acknowledge that you understand this disclaimer and agree that Groundwork Limited accepts no liability for any decisions you make based on conversations with Chris.

4. User Accounts

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must provide accurate information when creating your account
You may not create more than one account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Free tier

The free tier is available at no cost and includes daily check-ins, pillar tracking, rituals and community access.

5.2 Premium — €5.99/month

Includes Chris AI coaching (30 messages/day), Campfire rooms, weekly reflections and full progress history.

5.3 Premium Plus — €9.99/month

Includes everything in Premium plus unlimited Chris messages, priority support and early access to new features.

5.4 Payment terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
Payment is processed securely by Stripe
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
You may cancel at any time from your account settings
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
We do not offer refunds for partial months

6. Acceptable Use

By using Groundwork you agree not to:

Post content that is harmful, offensive, abusive or discriminatory
Harass, bully or intimidate other users
Share false or misleading information
Attempt to access other users' accounts
Use the platform for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer or copy any part of our platform
Use automated tools to scrape the platform

7. Community Guidelines

Be honest and authentic in your posts and interactions
Treat other members with kindness and respect
Do not share personal information about other users without their consent
What is shared in Campfire rooms is confidential — do not share it outside
Report content that violates these guidelines

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Groundwork — including the design, logo, text, features and AI coaching system — is the intellectual property of Groundwork Limited and is protected by Irish and international copyright law.

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting you grant Groundwork a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law Groundwork Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, any decisions made based on conversations with Chris, any loss of data or profits, or any interruption of service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

Your use of Groundwork is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
